🚀 Billing Operations Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? VirtualPBX is searching for a proactive and analytical Billing Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, and is eager to expand their skills in billing, finance, and tax compliance. This position is 100% remote and open to applicants across the USA.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Stripe Billing Pro: Manage and optimize our Stripe billing operations, including subscriptions, invoicing, refunds, and payment reconciliations.
• Customer Support Champion: Address and resolve customer billing inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a seamless billing experience.
• Tax Compliance Expert: Handle state and local sales tax compliance, including reporting and filing, using Avalara AVC or similar platforms. Stay updated on tax regulations and advise management on compliance.
• Data Analyzer: Generate and analyze billing and tax reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Present actionable insights to management.
• Process Improver: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline billing and tax processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaborator: Work closely with finance, customer support, and sales teams to resolve billing-related issues and optimize processes.

🎓 What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 2+ years in billing, finance, or accounting roles, with a focus on subscription billing using Stripe.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Stripe and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
• Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
